Welcome to our community site. The goal of the SVWM Wiki is to create a knowledge base for everyone who is interested in commemorating the lives of those brave men and women who gave their lives in service to their country. You are invited to explore both the main web site and this wiki to find out more about war casualties. Whether they might have been relatives, friends, people you knew or even complete strangers to you. What is important is that we all learn together!Explore

Creating or Editing a Wiki Page
Creating or editing a Wiki page is not difficult at all. Unless you are an experienced Wiki page writer, you really need to read the Creating or Editing a Wiki Page for the basics. If you plan to attach an image or a document to your Wiki page, the File Galleries Page is a must read. See also the Wiki Help Index for a list of informative pages about the Wiki.Who Can Contribute?
Every visitor to the Wiki can view most pages and photographs in the Wiki's knowledge base.To contribute to the Wiki you must be a registered user. There is no cost to do this and the process is quite simple. Just follow these steps to register. You only need to do this once.
- Click on the Register link in the top right corner of the Wiki page window.
- Type in a User Name that you want to use to log into the Wiki when you visit again.
- Type in a Password that you will remember. If possible, use capital letters and numbers in your password. (The strength of your password is shown.)
- Type in your password again just to make sure that you've got it right.
- Type in your e-mail address. This must be a valid e-mail address.
- Submit your registration information.
You will be sent a confirmation e-mail that will include a validation link. Click on the validation link to validate your Wiki account. Once this is done, you can login using your User Name and Password and begin contributing.
